Vira Rooftop Dining & Bar is one of the more striking restaurant concepts in Makarska, primarily due to the combination of serious gastronomy, an attractive rooftop location and a panoramic sea view. Situated in Ulica Ivana Gorana Kovačića, on the roof of a building, the restaurant offers a view that is especially impressive at sunset and in the evening hours.
It is a gourmet dining concept by chef Hrvoje Zirojević, with a kitchen based on a contemporary interpretation of the Mediterranean. Seasonal and local ingredients are combined with premium ingredients, with careful preparation and a pronounced dedication to presentation.
What can guests expect? Creative Mediterranean dishes, seasonal ingredients, carefully composed plates and flavour combinations that go beyond the classic restaurant offering. Along with the food comes one of Vira's main assets – a panoramic view of Makarska and the sea that makes dinner a special experience.
The elegantly furnished interior and terrace naturally complement the entire concept. Vira is intended for special dinners, romantic outings and guests who want to combine gastronomy, a view and a calmer evening ambience.
Prices are higher, in line with the level of gastronomy, the concept and the ambience. The restaurant is seasonal.
